Dr Markus Hülper has many years of wide-ranging experience in the areas of data protection, compliance and IT law. Following his law studies and a one-year research stay in Cambridge, he completed his legal clerkship in Dortmund. He began his legal career as a general lawyer with a focus on civil law before specialising in data protection and compliance via positions in banking and capital market law.

As an external data protection officer, Dr Markus Hülper advises numerous companies and is significantly involved in the development of practical tools for data protection, information security and occupational safety.
